Hedra has created a new high velocity desktop toy in the form of Halospheres, which rotate at more than 3,600 revolutions per minute and combine extreme velocity and “gravity defying physics” to create a “spectacular kinetic light display”. Watch the demonstration video below to learn more about the desktop toy created by the team based in New York.
Halospheres has this week launched via Kickstarter and has already raised its required pledge goal thanks to over 325 backers was still 35 days remaining on the campaign. Halospheres are available to back from just $25 or approximately £18 for early bird backers and provides a set of gold Halosphere.
If all goes well with manufacture the Halospheres are expected to start shipping out to backers during June 2018. “Forged from steel and plated in real gold, Halosphere is a real showpiece, generating a vortex of kinetic light effects, driven by just the power of your lungs! The Halospheres are first cast from stainless steel and then polished to a mirror finish. After which, they are plated with real gold for that characteristic halo hue.”
