HAL 9000 Computer From 2001: A Space Odyssey Now Available Via Indiegogo

If you would like to own the HAL 9000 computer from the iconic movie made 50 years ago, 2001: A Space Odyssey. You may be interested to know that Warner Bros. have made available the licence for the Master Replicas Group to create replicas of the iconic computer for your home or office. “Our HAL 9000 product line includes something for everyone! Our full-size HAL 9000 is a beautiful prop replica and also a Bluetooth speaker. For fans who want the ultimate collectible, we have a limited edition HAL 9000 with a voice interactive wall mounted Command Console.”

Watch the video below to learn more about the HAL 9000 computer project which has launched via Kickstarter and offers packages from $419 offering a 30 percent saving off the recommended retail price of $600. If all goes well worldwide shipping is expected to take place during January 2019.

“Our entry-level product features a glass primary lens, brushed aluminium faceplate, extruded aluminium trim, and built-in magnets for mounting on a desk or a wall. The internal speaker is compatible with Bluetooth 4.0 devices. HAL 9000 Bluetooth Speaker Edition is an unlimited edition and includes a power supply and handsome desk stand.”
