Hackers have posted more than 9.7 gigabytes of data online from Ashley Madison, the site is a dating site that allows people already in relationship to cheat, the news of the hack was revealed last month and now the data that was taken in the hack has been released online.
The 9.7 gigabytes of data was posted to the dark web yesterday and it is only accessible through the Tor browser, the details that have been leaked include information from 32 million users of the site.
The leaked details include account information and log in information for 32 million users, plus credit card data for the last seven years as well as other payment information.
Also included in the leaked information are peoples names, addresses, email addresses, phone numbers and more. In the email addresses that were leaked, more than 15,000 of them belong to .mil (military) and .gov (government).
The hackers who call themselves the Impact Team had originally asked for the site to be shut down and threatened to release the data if it wasn’t shut down.
