If your looking for a futuristic watch then the Gridlock from Tokyoflash might fit the bill. The Gridlock watch has an asymmetrical design with a black screen and orange illuminated interface.
The brushed steel case and strap provide a futuristic feel and at first look you might not see how the time is displayed. But once you know the time is easy to read with the hours on the left and minutes displayed on the right as figures.
Unfortunately the Gridlock watch is only a concept at the moment, with no details as to whether it will ever go into production.
