If you are looking for a bike light with a little more brightness plus the ability to ward off potential thieves. Then the new Defender bike light developed by Gotham Bicycle Defense might well be worth more investigation.
The Defender new style of bike light has been designed to help cyclists not forget or lose their lights. As Gotham Bicycle Defense explains, 1 in 3 city bikers have their lights stolen, and 80% of bikers are likely to leave their lights at home, making them a little useless.
This is when the Gotham Bicycle Defense new bike light comes in to its own. It has been designed to be easily attached to your bike handle bars or frame, but very difficult to remove without the correct tool.
The Defender is made of lightweight aluminium, and is equipped with ultrabright LEDs, that can be powered by 3 x AA batteries for up to 100 hours. View the video below to get a better idea how the new Defender bike light is constructed, and has been designed to be left on your bike, even outdoors all year round.
The Defender bike light is currently over on the Kickstarter website looking for pledges to help it start production. So if you feel you could benefit from the Defender bike light jump over now and make a pledge to help it make the jump from concept to production.
