Google has just announced the launch of a new search method its just added to its search services called “Search By Image”, which now allows users to search using an image rather than having to type text.
The new search service allows you to search using images by simply dragging and dropping an image from the web or your computer into the search box at images.google.com. Watch a brief video to see the new Google search feature using a image after the jump
Google’s Search By Image also allows you to upload images by simply clicking the camera icon on the righthand side of the search box, and then select the image you would like to use for your search.
To use Google’s new search by image even faster, you can download the Chrome extension or the Firefox extension, that once installed allow you to right-click an image on a web to search Google with that image.
