It looks like we finally have an official photo of the new Google Nexus 5, the handset briefly appeared on the Google Play Store, and the following photos were taken from the Google Play Store.
As well as the photos, we now also have some pricing on the Google Nexus 5, the handset will retail for $349, this is for the 16GB model of Google’s latest Nexus device.
There have been rumors that Google would either launch the Nexus 5 on the 18th or 28th of October, we also heard that the device would go on sale on either the 30th or 31st of October.
We could possibly see the Google Nexus 5 appear in the Google Play Store later today, considering that the device popped up on their yesterday briefly, this is looking more likely.
Unfortunately there were no specifications listed for the Nexus 5 when it appeared on Google’s website, so we will have to go on the rumors we heard previously for the handsets specifications.
The Google Nexus 5 is rumored to feature a 5 inch or 4.95 inch full HD display with a resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels, the device will be powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 800 processor with a clock speed of 2.3GHz, it will also come with 16GB of RAM.
There will be two storage options for the Nexus 5, one with 16GB and one with 32GB, the handset will also feature a 1.3 megapixel camera on the front and an 8 megapixel camera on the back.
The Nexus 5 will also be the first device to launch with the latest version of Google’s Android OS, Android 4.4 Kit Kat, as soon as we get some more details on when the handset will be announced we will let you guys know.
