This week Google has announced that their Google Chromecast media streaming dongle now supports YouTube Live streams, allowing you to enjoy your favourites on your big screen TV.
Unfortunately at the current time YouTube Live streams cannot be viewed from Germany and any YouTube channels that are not in good standing will be automatically have their Live streaming disabled reveals Google.
“With Google Chromecast available in 18 countries and +YouTube live streams happening on the regular, we wanted to share one of our favourite ways to use Chromecast. Head to one of the live streams below in the YouTube app, just press the cast button, then kick back and enjoy these live events from the comfort of your living room”
To re-cap new Google Chromecast dongle enables users to stream media through their home network from a laptop, desktop, smartphone or tablet.
The new $35 Google Chromecast dongle supports Android, iOS, Chrome for Mac, and Chrome for Windows and plygs into any HDTV equipped with a HDMI port and also allows YouTube, Netflix, Pandora, Google Play content and now YouTube Live streaming.
