No official announcement has been made by Google about the new VoIP that has been discovered in their Google Voice service by Disruptive Telephony, which could be a sure sign indication that Google is looking to roll out the new VoIP service soon.
Disruptive Telephony report that by taking your Google voice number and append “@sip.voice.google.com to get a perfectly working SIP URI that you could use with any SIP phone. The sip.voice.google.com suffix was not previously known to work in any capacity.
However this feature doesn’t yet seem to work for every Google Voice user, but if you’ve been looking to use a VoIP in Google Voice you have nothing to lose by giving it a go.
