If you have been patiently waiting for the launch of the new Gigabyte BRIX mini desktop computer systems powered by the latest Intel Haswell processors, you will be pleased to learn that from today the systems are now available to purchase with prices starting from just $300.
The new Gigabyte BRIX barebones mini desktop PC computer systems were unveiled by Gigabyte here this year and ship without any memory, internal storage or operating system. Allowing you to create a mini workstation to suit your exact requirements.
For $300 Gigabyte is offering a Gigabyte BRIX system equipped with an Intel Core i3-4010 processor and Intel HD 4000 graphics, but faster systems are available equipped with a Intel Core i5-4200 and Intel Core i7-4500 chips and Intel HD 4400 graphics for a higher price. Other features of the Gigabyte BRIX include 4 x USB 3.0 ports, 1 x HDMI, mini DisplayPort, GbE LAN, as well as 802.11n Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.0, connectivity and mSATA connector with two SO-DIMM slots for RAM. Henry Kao, Vice President of GIGABYTE Motherboard Business Unit explained:
“This new and updated GIGABYTE BRIX builds on the incredible success and popularity of our original compact PC design,”-“We’re confident end users will enjoy the improved overall performance that the latest Intel Core processors offer, as well as additional upgrades we have made regarding audio and USB connectivity.”
Gigabyte has also created a Gigabyte Brix Projector Mini PC which was also made available this month and is equipped with a 75 lumen LED bulb and Bluetooth 4.0 connectivity.
