We recently heard that sales of some of Apple’s iPhones were banned in Germany after a court ruled that Apple had infringed on Qualcomm’s patents.
This meant that Apple had to stop selling the iPhone 7 and iPhone 8 in Germany, it looks like Apple will soon be able to sell the handsets in Germany again.
A German court has thrown out Qualcomm’s lawsuit against Apple, the regional court in Mannheim has dismissed QUalcomm’s lawsuit and has said it is ‘groundless’. The court has said that the patent in question has not been violated by Apple.
Qualcomm have said that they will be appealing the latest ruling by the German court, Apple has not made any statements on the ruling as yet.
