Foxconn which is one of the world’s largest private employers is apparently about to reduce the size of its workforce as sales growth of the company is reported to be slowing down.
The company employs a massive 1.3 million workers at its peak production times, and it makes devices like the iPhone and iPad for Apple and other devices for other companies.
Now the company has announced that they will be reducing their workforce as sales is slowing down, over the previous few years the company has seen significant increases in sales.
Foxconn have not confirmed how many of their work force will be going, the company also has some new robots which it will be looking to use for production of devices over the next few years.
The last thing we heard about the company was before the launch of the iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus, where the company had recruited an extra 100,000 staff to produce Apple’s new iPhones.
