It looks like the new Fortnite Playground mode is coming to Fortnite very soon. It is now listed as one of the new features on the login splash for the game and could land as soon as tomorrow.
This new feature was announced back in May and it comes with more loot and resources, plus longer times to build and more.
What is Fortnite Playground Mode?
Battle and build to your heart’s content with an extended period of time to roam around the map as well as increased resource generation. All treasure chests and ammo crates will be spawned, try droppin’ in different spots and scope out the loot. Friendly fire is on so you can scrimmage with your squad (up to 4 friends per match), but fear not you’ll respawn immediately.
The Playground mode is designed to offer players a more relaxed environment compared to the traditional Battle Royale mode. In this mode, players can practice their building skills, explore the map without the pressure of the storm closing in, and engage in friendly battles with their friends. The extended time limit allows for more creative and strategic gameplay, making it an excellent opportunity for both new and experienced players to hone their skills.

Players will find that resources such as wood, stone, and metal are more abundant, allowing for more elaborate and extensive building projects.
