When Samsung announced their Galaxy Note 5 smartphone the device was not announced for Europe, which suggested that Samsung had decided not to launch the handset in Europe.
Now a new version of the Samsung Galaxy Note 5 with the model number SM-920F has appeared at the FCC.
In the past Samsung’s devices with the ‘F’ model number have been released in Europe, so this new version of the Galaxy Note 5 could be the European version of the device.
As a reminder, the Note 5 comes with an octa core Samsung Exynos 7420 processor and 4GB of RAM, the handset also comes with a 5.7 inch QHD display with a resolution of 2560 x 1440 pixels.
Other specifications on the Note 5 include a choice of either 32GB or 64GB of non expandable storage, there is also front and rear facing cameras. The front camera on the device is a 5 megapixel version and the rear camera is a 16 megapixel version. The device also comes with Android 5.1 Lollipop and a 3000 mAh battery.
If Samsung does decide to launch the Galaxy Note 5 in Europe, the handset could possible launch later this month, there is a rumored launch date for the device of the 28th of August. As soon as we get some more information on whether Samsung will launch the handset in Europe, we will let you guys know.
