If you struggle to meet your daily water intake requirements, a new smart water bottle which has already raised over €210,000 might be a possible solution to a healthier lifestyle. Designed to provide subtle reminders to drink water the “hydration habit builder” is equipped with motion sensor technology and a companion application. Allowing you to monitor and be reminded when to drink water, watch the demonstration video below to learn more.
The EQUA smart water bottle is coming to the end of its Kickstarter campaign but is still available to back with pledges available from $36 or just £27 and worldwide shipping expected to take place during September 2018. Designed by a development team based in Ljubljana, Slovenia the smartphone companion application supports both Android and iOS devices and monitors your daily water intake providing feedback and recommendations.
“Drinking water is one of those simple daily routines that we forget about too often. And while most recommendations focus on how much water we need to drink, not enough is said about how often you should be sipping on your water. The frequency and even distribution of your water intake during the day is actually the key to preventing dehydration.“
