Tesla has revealed that it will discontinue the entry level models of its Tesla Model S, both versions of the car with the 60kWh battery will be discontinued.
The Tesla Model S 60 and Model S 60D will both be discontinued next month and the reason for this is the lack of demand for the entry level versions of the model S.
Tesla customers are going for the higher models in the range, rather than these lower power models which were introduced last year.
This means that the starting price of the Tesla Model S in the UK will be increased from £65,300 to £71,800 from next month, as the more expensive model will now be the entry level model.
