PC gamers that have purchased Bethesda’s new Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim game are already experiencing enhance graphics over consoles, if they have a good enough PC that is. But even if your PC is not a monster there may be other ways to tweak your Skyrim settings to enhance your graphics and gaming within Skyrim.
Nvidia has published an extensive optimisation guide specifically written for Skyrim PC gamers by TweakGuides creator Koroush Ghazi. The aim of this guide is to allow you to better understand and utilise all of the configuration options within Skyrim, as well as a selection of advanced tweaks to enhance the game.
Minimum requirements are listed below, with the recommended requirements in brackets:
Processor: 2 GHz dual core CPU (Quad Core CPU)
Memory: 2GB (4GB) RAM
Hard Drive: At least 6GB of free space
Video Card: DirectX 9 compatible (GeForce GTX 550 Ti or GeForce GTX 260, or above)
Sound Card: DirectX compatible
Internet Access required for Steam
OS: Windows XP, Vista or 7
