Samsung has had massive success with its Galaxy range of smartphones, this is expected to continue with the launch of the Samsung Galaxy S4 shortly, and according to a recent report out of the top 10 Android devices, 8 belong to Samsung.
The news comes from Localytics who have released some details on the top 10 Android devices for January of this year, no surpise in first place is the Samsung Galaxy S3 which is followed in second place by the Samsung Galaxy S2.
The only non Samsung devices listed in the top 10 Android devices for January are Amazon’s Kindle Fire tablet, which is sat at number 7 and Motorola’s Droid RAZR which is sat at number 9, have a look at the graph below.
According to the report, Samsung made up 47 percent of all Android devices for January of this year, although Samsung’s dominance is down to its smartphones rather than tablets, with the only tablet appearing the the top 10 belonging to Amazon.
