A tiny mini PC has been unveiled by ECS this week in the form of the PB02CFMB mini PC which measures just 2.4 x 2.4” in size and can be powered by a choice of processors depending on your needs, application and budget. CPU options available include an Intel Celeron N4000 dual-core, Celeron N4100 or Pentium Silver N5000 quad-core processor.
The palm sized Pocket PC is also equipped with Bluetooth 4.2 connectivity and has a range of add-on stackable modules that can be used to add extra features such as wireless and USB connectivity, HDMI and ethernet ports. The single board mini PC is also used by ECS and its other products such as the Liva Q2 mini PC, but ECS is also an ODM, so the board is also available for other system builders to buy explains Bard Linder over on the Liliputing website.
It seems that ECS is planning to sell the modular mini PC in large quantities rather than single units. Unfortunately, no information on pricing or worldwide availability has been released as yet, but as soon as information comes to light, we will keep you updated as always.
