After being available to preorder for some time the new ecobee3, HomeKit thermostat is now available to purchase for $249 and has now started shipping.
The original version of the ecobee3 thermostat was launched during September of last year and has since then received a number of modifications including the latest which counts new support for Apple HomeKit enabling owners to be able to control their thermostat using Apple’s Siri personal assistant.
The ecobee3 HomeKit thermostat is equipped with a touchscreen 3.5 inch full-colour LCD display that offers users a resolution of 320 x 480 pixels.
