Dell has announced the addition of a new tablet to their range this week in the form of the Dell Venue 10 7000 that comes supplied running Google’s Android 5.0, Lollipop and Android for Work software.
The Dell Venue 10 7000 features a 10.5-inch OLED screen sporting a resolution of 2560 x 1600 pixels and is powered by a quad-core Intel Atom Z3580 processor.
Other features of the new Dell tablet include an Intel RealSense snapshot depth camera together with the Dell Gallery application that provides users with selective re-focusing and measurement functionality, together with smart albums that have been created to automatically organise users photos. Dell explains a little more :
“The Venue 10 7000 features a sleek, futuristic design with a barrel edge making it easy to hold and carry, or slot into the magnetic, backlit keyboard that can position the tablet in five different configurations: tablet, slate, stand, tent or clamshell modes. Users can enjoy an immersive audio experience no matter how the tablet is positioned with MaxxAudio Mobile by Waves and front-firing stereo speakers. “
The Dell Venue 10 7000 pricing starts at $499 or $629 with a keyboard option and will be launching in the US, Canada and China in May 2015. The smaller Venue 10 5000 is now available in selected countries priced starting at $299 or $349.00 with keyboard.
