The CryptLock electronic door lock project is currently over on the Kickstarter crowd funding website looking to raise enough pledges to make the jump from concept to production. James Stevenson CryptLock’s creator based in Swansea, UK explains a little more :
“CryptLock will be installed in the same way as a normal lock and will look similar to some card reader locks but this time with a Raspberry Pi on the inside, to manage all of the locks computing needs and to keep costs low. The user will be able to communicate with the Raspberry Pi in several different ways, ranging from using a mobile phone, a portable keyboard and more.”
