If you are patiently waiting to get your hands on a Google Chromecast media streaming device which was launched by Google earlier this month.
You are going to be disappointed to learn that Amazon has pushed back their shipping dates for the new Chromecast device, revealing that shipping of the Google Chromecast will resume in October 2013.
Currently the Google play Store is also showing that shipping times are between 2-3 weeks and it will probably take some time for Google to catch up with early demand for their new streaming media device.
To re-cap Google Chromecast can stream media through your network and from your laptop, desktop, smartphone and tablet devices as well as YouTube, Netflix, Pandora, and tons of Google Play content.
The new Google Chromecast support Android, iOS, Chrome for Mac, and Chrome for Windows and plygs into any HDTV equipped with a HDMI port.
“Chromecast is the easy way to enjoy online video and anything from the web on your TV. Plug it into any HDTV and control it with your existing smartphone, tablet, or laptop. Send your favorites from Google Play, YouTube, Netflix, and Chrome to your TV with the press of a button. No more huddling around small screens and tiny speakers. Chromecast automatically updates to work with a growing number of apps.”
