Google have released a new update for its Chrome OS which finally brings with it a fix for the issues with the Cr-48 touchpad that has been a thorn in the devices side. The update Chrome OS Beta R10 release 0.10.156.46 follows on from the release of the Google version 10 of their Chrome browser beta and brings both the browser and Chrome OS back inline.
The new Chrome OS build includes updates for: 3G modem activation fixes, 3G connection to the carrier fixes, Wi-Fi connectivity/Out of the Box fixes, New trackpad and sensitivity setting adjusted, Auto update engine and debugging improvements, Power optimisations, GTalk video/chat optimisations, Audio CPU utilisation improvements, Improved on screen indicators: brightness, network status, update icon.
Plus the update which was rolled out to the Chrome browser on Feb 17th.
