As well as launching the the Canon PowerShot G11, Canon unveiled another five cameras, we aren’t going to feature them all, but the other model that was launched which is worthy of a mention is the Canon PowerShot SD980 IS Digital ELPH Camera.
The Canon PowerShot SD980 IS Digital ELPH Camera features a 12.1 MP sensor, with 5 x optical zoom with an ultra wide 24mm lens, and optical image stabilization.
The PowerShot SD980 features a 3.0 inch touch screen PureColor System LCD screen, and it can shoot HD video at 720p, on top of that there is HDMI out so you can play your video and photos directly on your HDTV.
