Audi unveiled their new Audi Prologue concept at the LA Auto Show last year, and now the company will reveal an estate version in March, the Audi Prologue Avant concept.
Audi has revealed some sketches of what the new Audi Prologue Avant concept will look like, and we will get a better look next month when it is made official.
Design and Features
The Audi Prologue Avant concept is expected to carry forward the sleek and futuristic design language introduced by its predecessor. The sketches reveal a dynamic and elegant estate car that combines the practicality of an Avant with the cutting-edge aesthetics of the Prologue series. The front fascia is dominated by a wide, single-frame grille flanked by sharp, angular headlights, giving it an aggressive yet sophisticated look. The rear end features a continuous light strip that emphasizes the car’s width and adds to its modern appeal.
Inside, the Prologue Avant is likely to feature a luxurious and tech-laden cabin. Expect high-quality materials such as leather, aluminum, and possibly even carbon fiber to be used extensively. The dashboard will likely be dominated by a large touchscreen interface, integrating Audi’s latest MMI system, which offers intuitive controls and seamless connectivity options. Advanced driver assistance systems and semi-autonomous driving capabilities are also expected to be part of the package, showcasing Audi’s commitment to innovation and safety.
Technology and Performance
Audi previously said that the Audi Prologue concept would not be going into production although we will see some of the design of the car and also the technology used in it in future Audi vehicles, possibly the Audi A9. This means that the Prologue Avant concept will serve as a technological showcase, hinting at what we can expect from upcoming Audi models.
Under the hood, the Prologue Avant is expected to feature a powerful hybrid drivetrain, combining a turbocharged petrol engine with an electric motor to deliver impressive performance and efficiency. This setup could potentially offer a combined output of over 600 horsepower, enabling the car to accelerate from 0 to 60 mph in under 4 seconds. Additionally, the hybrid system will likely include a plug-in capability, allowing for a limited all-electric range, making it an eco-friendly option for urban commuting.
The Prologue Avant will also likely feature Audi’s Quattro all-wheel-drive system, ensuring excellent traction and stability in various driving conditions. Adaptive air suspension and advanced chassis control systems will further enhance the driving experience, providing a perfect balance between comfort and sportiness.
We will have more information and photos of the new Audi Prologue Avant concept when it is revealed at the Geneva International Motor Show next month. The Geneva International Motor Show is one of the most prestigious automotive events in the world, and it serves as the perfect platform for Audi to showcase their latest innovations and design philosophies.
The Audi Prologue Avant concept promises to be a stunning blend of style, technology, and performance. While it may not go into production, its influence will undoubtedly be seen in future Audi models, setting new benchmarks for the luxury estate segment. Stay tuned for more updates and detailed coverage of the Prologue Avant’s debut at the Geneva International Motor Show.
