Earlier we mentioned that Apple had sold out of its initiall batch of iPhone 4 pre-orders here in the UK, with new iPhone pre-orders shipping from July. Now its seems that AT&T in the US has also sold out on their pre-order iPhone 4’s for delivery on June the 24th.
This is quiote surprising considering that there were massive problems in the US with AT&T’s pre-order process, with many customers unable to pre-order and iPhone 4 and many other having to wait for hours.
It seems that the next shipping date for the iPhone 4 in the US in July the 2nd, the same as the UK and iPhone 4 customers should get their handset around the 4th of July.
I guess the iPhone has been a great success for Apple so far in terms of sales, but maybe not for customer experience, to be honest, the whole thing has been a complete shambles.
It took me three hours to actually order my iPhone 4 yesterday from Apple, and I have spent numerous hours on the phone to various UK network providers trying to get a Micro SIM card. We have put together a handy guide on how to get a Micro SIM card in the UK, which should help our readers out who are in the same position as us.
