Back in December we saw some leaked specifications for the Asus Padfone X, Asus has now announced their new combo smartphone and tablet device, and it is headed to the US and will be an exclusive to mobile carrier AT&T.
The Asus Padfone X is made up of a 5 inch smartphone which will have a full HD resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels, plus a 9 inch tablet dock that will also feature a full HD resolution, the device will come with Android 4.4 Kit Kat.

This allows consumers to run their smartphone apps instantly on a vivid 9-inch tablet display. The magic of it is that the experience is not just bigger, it’s better than on a traditional smartphone.”

The Asus Padfone X will come with 4G LTE, unfortunately Asus have not revealed the full specifications for the device, they have said that these will be announced, along with the pricing for the device at a later date.
