We previously saw a video on how to upgrade the RAM on the new Mac Mini and now the guys from iFixit have taken one apart to find out what was inside.
The Mac Mini that was taken apart comes with a 3.6GHz Intel Core i3 processor and 8GB of RAM, it also comes with 128GB of storage and Intel UHD Graphics 630.
The guys from iFixit give devices a score between 1 and 10 on their repair index, 1 means the device is very difficult to repair and 10 means it is easy to repair.
The new Mac Mini score 6 our of 10 on their repair index, this means that there are a couple of things that make the device more difficult to repair. This include the CPU and storage which have been soldered to the logic board, this means they can not be upgraded by the user.
Also if any of the ports are damaged they cannot be replaced individually, the whole logic board will need to be replaced. You can find out more information over at iFixit at the link below.
