Apple’s Worldwide Developer Conference takes place next month and the company is planning some major new features for iOS 13.
According to recent report by Mark Gurman from Bloomberg, the next version of Apple’s mobile software will get some major new features. Apple’s watchOS software and the Apple Watch will also get new features that will make it more independent from the iPhone.
There will be some new apps which Apple have designed in house for the Apple Watch and also possibly some new ones for the iPhone and iPad.
The Apple Watch will apparently get access to the app store and you will be able to download apps directly to it. The company has developed some new health apps for their smartwatch, plus a Books app which will allow you to listen to audio books and a calculator.
With iOS 13 we will get to see many of the features that Apple put on hold for iOS 12, this includes a Dark Mode and more. There will be a new Health app on the iPhone which will give you access to more information to your Health data and more.
Apple’s iMessage will also get updated, according to the report this will become more like WhatsApp and you will be able to set a profile picture, display name and also choose who can see this information.
There will be lots more new features coming to the iPhone, iPad, Apple Watch and Mac and we will find out about all of these at WWDC 2019 which takes place next month.
