Apple’s iOS 11 software has a number of bugs that the company are working on fixing. One of the bugs that was noticed recently relates to privacy and Apple’s voice activated assistant Siri.
The issue happens on the lock screen when Siri can read out notifications that are actually hidden. This means that someone could say ‘Hey Siri, read my notifications’ and find out what they are even though the handset is locked.
Apple has told MacRumors that they are working on a fix for the issue and it will be sorted out in a future software update. “We are aware of the issue and it will be addressed in an upcoming software update.” said an Apple spokesperson.
We are waiting for the new iOS 11.3 software update which is expected to be released next week, hopefully Apple will have fixed this issue in that update.
