Samsung announced that Android 4.3 Jelly Bean will make its way to Samsung Galaxy S4, S3 and Note 2 in the coming months. It was revealed earlier that Samsung is testing the Android 4.3 update which will be rolled out in October, followed by Samsung Galaxy S3 and Galaxy Note 2 in November and December, respectively. Now, more details about Samsung plans to upgrade its devices have emerged from Samsung Canada and a French carrier, SFR.
A French carrier SFR posted a roadmap of table with information about the upcoming Android 4.3 updates for various devices including Galaxy S4, S3 and Note 2. According to SFR’s roadmap, Samsung Galaxy S4 will get the taste of Android 4.3 update in October while the remaining two devices will get the update in November/December timeframe. Interestingly, the roadmap also suggests that HTC One will also get the Android 4.3 update next month, which means that other European carriers might release the update in the coming weeks.
In Canada, all three devices are expected to get the update in the November/December timeframe. Samsung Canada’s Vice President Enterprise Business Division Paul Brennan confirmed to MobileSyrup that the Galaxy S4, the Galaxy S3 and the Galaxy Note 2 will be upgraded to Android 4.3 in November timeframe, after the international devices.
