Amazon has registered a new domain name which could possible hint to the name of Amazon’s new Android tablet, the domain name in question is kindleair.com, which could mean that the new Amazon Android tablet will be called the Amazon KindleAir.
Of course the KindleAir name could also be for the next generation Amazon Kindle, which has been rumored over the last few days, although we suspect Amazon will keep the name ‘Kindle’ for its eBook readers and may use the KindleAir for their Android tablet.
This would make sense for Amazon, as the Kindle is an already established brand which people recognize, so calling their Android tablet the KindleAir would be a smart move as Amazon would be able to expand their Kindle brand to other device than just their eBook readers.
The last thing we heard about Amazon’s first Android tablet is that it expected to launch in October, as soon as we get some more information we will let you guys know.
