Recently we heard that Amazon had discontinued their Kindle DX, the device was removed from Amazon’s website, and now it would appear that Amazon may have discontinued the Kindle Touch.
Amazon’s website is now showing the Kindle Touch as ‘currently unavailable’ with no mention of when the device will be in stock, although Amazon is pointing people towards its new Kindle Paperwhite, so it looks like the Paperwhite could have replaced the Kindle Touch.
The Amazon Kindle Paperwhite features a 6 inch touchscreen display with a resolution of 1024 x 768 pixels, and it also comes with a built in light for reading in the dark.
