Acer has launched another tablet in its Switch range, the new Acer Aspire Switch 12 , which comes with a 12.5 inch display, and can be used as a tablet and also a notebook or a desktop.
The Acer Aspire Switch 12 comes with a 12.5 inch display that has a full HD resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels, the device also come with a new Intel Core M processor.
Equipped with a unique kickstand design that features a magnetic and latch-less detachable keyboard, the centerpiece of the Aspire Switch 12 is its ability to easily transition between 5 distinct modes (notebook, pad, display, tent and desktop). Through these 5 modes, users can find a configuration for just about any need and use it as a laptop, tablet with or without keyboard, or desktop PC. It can also be optimized for sharing information and viewing multimedia (display and tent modes) in conjunction with its dual front-facing speakers for a rich and full audio experience on the go.
The Acer Aspire Switch 12 will come with a choice of solid state drives from 30GB to 128GB, the device will launch in quarter four in Europe, the Middle East and Africa and it is headed to the US early next year, prices for the tablet will start at €649.
