Earlier this month, Acer unveiled its latest Android-based handset dubbed as Liquid Z5, which was expected to launch on European shows in mid-January. It seems the time has finally arrived, and it’s available for sale in Europe for 169 Euros on Amazon France and Germany, as well as Taiwan.
The handset doesn’t bring a very high-end specifications at the table, but features decent specifications considering its low price tag. Acer Liquid Z5 rocks a 5-inch display with 400 x 854 pixels resolution and a dual-core Mediatek MT6572 processor clocked at 1.3GHz with Mali-400 GPU and 512MB of RAM on board.
The handset comes with 4GB of storage on board with an option to expand it to up to 32GB via a microSD card slot. Other features of the Acer Liquid Z5 includes a 5MP rear camera for photos and videos, VGA front-facing camera, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Wi-Fi hotspot, a 2,000 mAh battery and runs Android 4.2 Jelly Bean as the OS pre-installed out of the box.
