The new 2016 BMW M4 GTS is now official, the car will make its world premiere at the 44th Tokyo Motor show which takes place between the 30th of October and the 8th of November.
If the BMW M4 is not powerful enough for you, then you may be interested in the new M4 GTS which comes with 68 more horsepower than the standard model.
This new BMW M4 GTS features a 3.0 litre straight six engine with twin turbos, it has 500 horsepower and 442 lb-ft of torque, this gives it a 0 to 62 miles per hour time of just 3.8 second and a limited top speed of 189.5 miles per hour.
The car comes with BMW’s M Double Cluth Trasmission (M DCT), which is designed to select the exact gear ratio needed for all driving conditions.
BMW have also worked on reducing the weight of the car and it has a ECE kerb weight of 1,585 KG, this has been done with a number of carbon fibre parts and other weight reduction features.
The new M4 GTS also comes with BMW Selective Beam lights and OLED rear lights, inside there is a pair of carbon fibre M bucket seats, which weigh around 50 percent less than the seats in the standard M4.
There will be just 700 units of the BMW M4 GTS made available worldwide and 300 of those will be made available in the US.
As yet there are no details on how much the new M4 GTS will retail for in the US, we should have more information later this month.
