If you are lucky enough to own one of the new Pebble smartwatches which took Kickstarter by storm last year, you might be interested in this new dock which has been designed by Rodney Timbol of Documont called the Sidekick Pebble Dock.
The Sidekick Pebble Dock has been created to allow owners to dock their smartwatch with ease and also provide a place to keep your watch when it’s not being worn. Watch the video after the jump to learn more about the Sidekick Pebble Dock project and see it in action.
“The Sidekick Pebble Dock project was born out of a need to find a way to anchor the loose magnetic charging cable, have a way to prop up the Pebble’s display and protect my investment.
I love my Pebble, it has become an essential device in my everyday life. It is an extension of my phone and has become a more convenient way to view my notifications quickly.”
I wanted to extend this functionality of the Pebble beyond my wrist and felt a dock would be the solution for all my needs. So I set out to design a dock that met the demands of a “smartwatch”.”
The Sidekick Pebble Dock project is currently over on the Kickstarter website looking to raise enough pledges to make the jump from concept to production. So if you think the Sidekick Pebble Dock is something you could benefit from, visit the Kickstarter website now to make a pledge and help the Sidekick Dock become a reality.
