Flying cameras that are capable of recording footage of you while you carry out your latest tricks or adventures, in a selfie style way are not a new idea. However a number of companies have come unstuck when trying to build prototypes using funds from Kickstarter and similar whilst trying to take their designs to market.
A new camera designed by ZZR is hoping to end this trend and provide a consumer flying action camera, that is capable of recording aerial photographs and video of you whilst you concentrate on the task at hand.
The ZZR Hover Camera is still a prototype at the moment and is under development for release in the near future. Its powered by a quad-core Snapdragon processor that is capable of both controlling flight and camera angles to make sure you get the most from its on-board camera. That is capable of capturing either 13 megapixel stills or ultra HD 4K video.
The ZZR flying action camera is also equipped with on-board image stabilisation to provide a smooth results and is capable of folding up to roughly the size of a book allowing it to be easily transported when required. The rugged design is constructed from lightweight carbon fibre allowing it to take a few knocks without disintegrating.
Unfortunately no information on pricing or worldwide availability has been released as yet by ZZR, but as soon as information comes to light we will keep you updated as always.
