Camcorders have become much simpler in the last few years. They used to all be rather large devices but with the advent of YouTube and its raging popularity there is now a huge market for simple and compact video cameras like the Zoom Q3.
We talked about the Zoom Q3 back in July of 2009 and the camera sold for $249 at the time. Zoom has announced that it is cutting the price of the Q3 to $199 and it keeps the same feature set.
The camera has a 2.4-inch LCD, 24-bit/ 96kHz sound, and records video at 640 x 480 resolution. The camera is powered by a pair of AA batteries and has an integrated USB cable. It also ships with software for editing and uploading video to YouTube.
