If you have been unfortunate enough to suffer and Error 53 issue on your iPhone and you handset is bricked you can now restore your device as Apple has released a fix error 53 patch.
As we mentioned earlier, Apple has now released a patch to iOS 9.2.1 which will allow you to restore your bricked iPhone to full working order.
If you have had this issue on your iPhone, the handset can be restored by following the instructions below.
- The first thing you need to do is force restart your iPhone, this can be done by holding the sleep/wake button and the home button at the same time until you see the Apple logo.
- Connect your iPhone to iTunes and you will be promoted to restore your device, this will download and install the latest iOS 9.2.1 software update to your handset.
- You can now restore your iPhone from a backup or use it as a new iPhone, this is done after the handset has been restored.
If you have followed the above steps and are still getting the Error 53 message you will need to contact Apple support or take your handset to and Apple store to get the device fixed.
