Relativity Research has created a new smartwatch which requires no smartphone to function, and can be used as a stand-alone wrist worn wearable phone thanks to the included SIM slot.
As you can see from the image above the team have taken inspiration for the styling from a popular brand, but added a few unique features making it a little different underneath the skin.
Watch the promotional video below to learn more about this new xWatch smartwatch which has taken to Kickstarter to raise the funds it requires to go into production.
The xWatch and xWatch Lite are two of the most functional smartwatches to be introduced into the market. These watches have been designed to bring to the customer features that are not widely available in smartwatches currently in the market. We are currently in the final prototype testing phase. We are seeking funding for mass production to bring this product to market and develop really cool and stylish bands. We would like to offer multiple colors for the bands, currently we only have green and black. We would like to offer at least 5 colors. Your input would be appreciated on this topic.
The xWatch is an actual standalone phone when you insert a micro SIM card into the watch. Make calls directly from xWatch with no need for a phone. In addition, you can simultaneously pair your existing mobile device to xWatch allowing you make and receive calls from both numbers through one device.
