Xiaomi has today unveiled a new addition to their range of devices that makes a move away from the traditional smartphones and televisions normally associated with Xiaomi.
The new Xiaomi Ninebot Mini self balancing scooter has been designed to provide a more advanced alternative to the Segway vehicles, which was purchased by Beijing-based Ninebot with the help from Xiaomi to the tune of an £18 million investment from Xiaomi.
As you can see from the photographs and as the name suggests the Xiaomi Ninebot Mini is a much smaller vehicle than the classic Segway and is priced at £200 or 1,999 Yuan.
The new vehicle has been created to provide a top speed of 16 km/h and has a range of 22 km on a full charge. The vehicle weighs 12.8 kg and is capable of easily being carried in one hand and small enough to fit in the boot of a small car.
Unfortunately at the moment no details on worldwide availability have been announced as yet by Xiaomi. As more details are revealed about the small electric Xiaomi Ninebot Mini self balancing scooter we will keep you updated as always.
