To help avoid some of the instability issues that have been plaguing the gameplay of the new Witcher 3 Wild Hunt that launched earlier this month.
The games developers CD Projekt Red are taking the decision to install a lock on the Xbox One frame rates within the game to restrict them to 30 frames per second.
Xbox One gamers will either be pleased at the fix or disappointed at the lower frame rates, and the new lock down on frame rates is expected to roll out very soon in the upcoming patch, CD Projekt Red community lead Marcin Momot revealed via Twitter.
The Witcher 3 Wild Hunt launched on May 19th for Xbox One, PS4 and PC and has been built using the REDengine 3 games engine.
