WhatsApp has released a new version of their popular messaging app for Apple’s iPhone, the app comes with the version number 2.19.20 and it brings some new features to the app.
The new version of WhatsApp now lets you secure the App using either Apple’s FaceID or Touch ID, which will add an extra layer of security to the app.
This can be enabled on your iPhone by going to Settings > Account > Privacy > Screen Lock, once this has been toggled on you will need to either use Face ID or Touch ID to unlock the app.
You will still be able to reply to messages from notifications and also answer phone calls on the app when the lock is enabled. The latest version of the app is now available to donwload from the app store.
