The Apple Watch launches today, although you wont actually be able to buy one in an Apple Store today.
The guys from iFixit have already managed to get their hands on an Apple Watch Sport and have taken the device apart to find out what is inside, have a look at the photos below.
Inside the Apple Watch they found Apple’s custom designed Apple S1 SiP (System in Package) processor, there is also 8GB of built in storage in the smartwatch.
Also found inside the device is a pressure sensitive AMOLED touchscreen display and the device comes with NFC, WiFi and Bluetooth, plus a range of sensors which include Accelerometer + gyroscope + heart rate monitor, there is also a microphone and a speaker.
As we can see from the photos the components are tightly packed inside the Apple Watch, the guys from iFixit have yet to give the device a repair score as they are currently in the middle of taking the device apart.
It will be interesting to see how easy the Apple Watch is to repair, as soon as we get some more details from iFixit, we will let you guys know.
