Following on from the launch of the 4G EE Action Cam earlier this year, EE has now unveiled the new 4G EE Capture Cam, that takes the form of a wearable camera that is capable of streaming video footage.
The 4G EE Capture Cam is fitted with a 4G SIM inside and is capable of streaming video at 720p using the private video sharing service Skeegle.
The small wearable camera is also fitted with a battery that is capable of providing up to 2.5 hours of constant streaming or 24 hours of standby. Videos from the camera can be shared directly with friends and family or as a text link to the streaming website. EE is also hoping to roll out more ways to share your video footage via social media in the near future.
The camera also offers the option to record full HD 1080p footage, but to do this you will need to save the images directly to the 4GB of built-in memory or the microSD card that you have inserted into the provided slot.
Unfortunately no details on pricing or exact availability have been announced as yet by EE. But the new 4G EE Capture Cam is expected to be available before the holiday season of 2015 and will be made available as part of mobile data plans. As soon as more information is released over the next few weeks EE we will keep you updated as always.
