As well as releasing iOS 9 beta 3, Apple also released Watch OS 2 beta 3 to developers and the software is now available to download for registered developers.
Apple’s Watch OS 2 will bring a range of new features to Apple’s smartwatch, this includes support for native apps, rather than companion apps like on the current version of Watch OS.
Other new features that will be available in the second major release of Apple’s smartwatch OS will include a new watch face called Complications that provides more information on the display and will include things like the calendar and information from a wide range of apps.
Apple is expected to release their new Watch OS 2 later in the year and we are expecting the software to land some time in September along with iOS 9.
