Mac users that have ever wondered what it would be like to use on of the latest Wacom Cintiq digital tablets running Apple’s latest OS X Yosemite Mac operating system, may be interested in this new hack created by CG Alchemist.
To re-cap the Wacom Cintiq Companion 2 is a touchscreen drawing tablet and that can be equipped with up to 16GB of RAM and offers users a 13.3 inch WQHD display providing a resolution of 2560 x 1440 pixels.
The Wacom tablet is designed to offer 2048 levels of pressure and can be seen in action in the video below, to see the new hack in action and learning more about what functions are full working and which still need a little bit of work. Its creator explains.
“So after a few more days of working on it, I have it running from my internal SSD with clover boot loader. The brightness and acceleration work with only a few minor things that need to be fixed. I will have a rough guide up here tonight with how to get to the point I’m at so others can help hammer out the rest if interested”
