VW has talked about its attractive Arteon sedan for a while, but the key factoid that was missing was the price. VW has now announced pricing, and things don’t look good for Arteon fans hoping for a low price. A base FWD Arteon SE will start at $36,840.
Step up to the AWD version, and you will shell out $38,640. The cars both have the same 2.0L turbo four that makes 268hp and 258 lb-ft of torque paired with an 8-speed automatic. The car does include adaptive suspension as standard along with 18-inch wheels. LED headlights, power heated seats, and more.
Both Apple CarPlay and Android Auto are standard on the 8-inch touchscreen infotainment system. Stepping up to the top of the line Arteon SEL Premium will cost you $45,490 plus another $1,265 on all trims if you want the R-Line with 19-inch wheels or $1,765 for the R-Line with 20-inch wheels. A base Kia Stinger is $33,985 by comparison.
